Feedback

Nadia,

I hope that all is well. I was finally able to finish your book that you gave me on the flight back from LA. I do apologize for not writing sooner. It has been GO, GO, GO since my return. I will be posting my review on Amazon as promised within a day or two.

Although many of your ideas fall under “Common sense” in my own networking process, I still found it very, very helpful. I also feel that your book is an excellent tool for people who are not only looking for better ways to network but for people that lack the “personality trait” and are usually standing alone at the edge of a room talking to their drink while people are conversing all around them. Reading your book can help them fine tune their abilities (or lack of) to communicate with others.

I found myself relating to the “inner child” part and I especially found the section “First Make the Connection” on page 48 very interesting. I particularly can relate to the part where it says to “compliment the other person on what they are wearing”. I agree that it is not very original but I will say that it works. (Very well)

I believe that this is repeated again on page 88 under you’re the bullet point marked “Fashion”. I guess a compliment about any article of clothing will do i.e. shirt, shoes, etc. J

Anyway, I enjoyed reading your book and find myself referring back to different parts of it quite often. I also enjoyed meeting you. I would very much like to continue our conversation maybe over coffee or lunch some time in the very near future.

Thank you again for giving me your book to read. It was definitely a pleasure reading it!!

You truly practice what you preach…

Cheers,
Manouel
